Sanders eyes �bigger� 2020 bid despite some warning signs

I do think Sanders would have done better against Trump than Clinton would have, but of course that's impossible to know for sure.
I think his age would be a turn-off to a lot of people. He was pushing it a bit in the last election, but 4 years exacerbates the problem. The oldest a President has been while in office was Ronald Reagan, who was almost 78 years old when he left office after two terms. Bernie Sanders, if elected, would be older than that at the start of his first term. His pick for vice president would probably be more important for his election chances than anything about himself.
