IIRC the character was pulled because he was considered a racist stereotype.

    Not EVERY DAY, mind you....

    but we...

    kinda sorta....

    played

    Cowboys and Indians!
I'll bet you even played "Cops and Robbers" where the evil cops were the good guys and the socially oppressed and economically disadvantaged robbers were the baddies.

You can redeem yourself by playing invading rapacious white oppressors and noble indigenous Native Americans with spongebob.

Our church had a Veggie Tales theme for VBS about fifteen years ago. I made up my own characters: Broccoli Spears and Stew Tomato.

    Considered so by whom?

Or is it like Speedy Gonzales where he's loved by Mexicans but offends white liberals?

I think this show and its vegeto-normative patriarchy should be banned.

There's a danish traditional winter food, that's common in some parts of Denmark during december, especially in Northern Jutland. You take a Cauliflower, boil it, and then you put it in a pillow casing (clean one of course), and centrifuge it in a washing machine (no you don't wash it, just spin it). This gets rid of all the moisture in it. You then run the dry cauliflower through a meat grinder, and mix it with cream and butter. Don't know what it should be called in english, but krøstekål is the name in danish. I guess that's "Crushed cabbage"

Served with pork, salted meats and pickled beats.

Does the whiteness of this dish make me racist? :faint:
