Somehow the president who always managed to get the best people until it turned out they were not that good and were fired or left for different reasons has now found himself his next chief of staff. This time around one of the best guys, a top of the line professional, is a guy who once called Trump a "terrible human being".
Note the "as bad". He is not even saying "worse". He wouldn't have fallen for the whataboutism on tweb, I suppose.
Anyway it seems quite few people were willing to find themselves among the best:

And somehow this all reminded me of the wise words of Bob Dylan:
So I made it easy for those of you who always do your best to explain why anything bad is all good.
“Yes, I’m supporting Donald Trump; I’m doing so as enthusiastically as I can do. In fact, I think he’s a terrible human being,” Mulvaney said. Referencing Trump’s opponent Hillary Clinton, Mulvaney added: “But the choice on the other side is just as bad.”
Anyway it seems quite few people were willing to find themselves among the best:
Trump’s hunt for a chief of staff has not gone smoothly and has been defined more by people declining the job than queuing up to fill it.
And somehow this all reminded me of the wise words of Bob Dylan:
Big politician telling lies
Restaurant kitchen all full of flies
Don't make a bit of difference, don't see why it should
But it's all right, 'cause it's all good
Restaurant kitchen all full of flies
Don't make a bit of difference, don't see why it should
But it's all right, 'cause it's all good
