    "Russia promoted Trump!"
    "What about their anti-Trump activities?"
"Oh, well, that was just a sneaky way to energize Trump's base! Yeah, that's it!"
"But why wouldn't it have energized Hillary's base, too?"
"Well... um... um... uh... quick! Look over there!"
"What? I don't see anyth- hey, where'd he go?"

I think this is what he's referring to:

"It’s more about making sure that your unpersuadable voters show up, and hope the other guy’s unpersuadable voters stay home."

To which he keeps dodging the obvious... it's not illegal to encourage people to vote.

If you made post that we’re not on the level of moon landing hoxers, I might make more effort. As of now, what I see in tin foil hat wearing conspiracy theories that are believed because they tell people things they like to hear. Show me hard evidence of one vote changed due to ‘meddling’. Can you?

That is NOT what I said. And you know it. Honesty is NOT your strong suit - is it.

                My point was:

                1) There is an operation to divide, this disrupts our democracy
                2) There was also an operation to support Trump and dissuade from Hillary

I did NOT try to offer the 'sneaky way ...' as an explanation for 1) above. I simply said:

                3) It is Possible to do BOTH 1 and 2 through a properly targeted anti-trump rally.

Is it possible for you to comprehend the difference?

On my way to work at 3:30 AM I caught the end of a discussion on the radio which brought up that the group conducting the research has a very left-leaning partisan history. Wish I could have caught the details.

Yes, but then you argue out of both sides of your mouth and claim that whatever anti-Trump activities Russia engaged in were really a sneaky scheme to energize Trump's base, as if Russia could somehow cause their influence to only go in one direction. But then it could just as easily be argued that the anti-Hillary activities were really a sneaky scheme to energize Hillary's base.

Or, most likely, Senator Mark Warner is right, and Russia didn't give a pair of fetid dingo's kidneys who won as long it resulted in political dysfunction. It looks like the Democrats played right into Putin's hands.

And you’re doing a great job demonstrating what Russia sought to achieve. Great job, now do you have to support voters that changed their minds based on this Russian influence or not?

She DID work (unsuccessfully) to keep him from getting re-elected. It's not exactly a stretch to imagine that Putin might return the favor.

Well then the democrats helped the Russians succeed in disrupting our democracy because they have played right into their hands and have been the ones throwing fits since the election, starting fights, using fake dossiers, trying to de-legitimize Trump or impeach him, running conservative speakers off campuses, burning cars, etc.

They didn't change their minds, you see, they were energized.
