The current city authorities want to rewrite history. Who would come out and claim that their own city was a cesspool of crime and violence? Marketing dude.

Sorry, but Trump is correct that the wall in El Paso did help reduce illegal crossings by 72%. DHS attributes the general drop in illegal crossings to an "increase in manpower," technological upgrades and, yes, changes in "infrastructure" like fencing improvements and vehicle barriers.

The wall is a necessary part of the answer. Period.

I'll trust Customs and Border Patrol over 2 politicians trying to "shine the buckle" in El Paso.

                What changed? Trump.

                That says everything right there.

                    • Apparently a "National Emergency" is back on the cards, cos the child didn't get what he wanted.

I like this precedent. It means that in 2020, President Sanders will be able to declare a national emergency on day 1, and set about fixing the US's healthcare, homelessness, criminal justice, and climate change issues.

It gives you hope that Democrats are THAT stupid? That just claiming Trump supports something costs 20 points?

No. It gives me hope that Trump is so broadly hated and despised that people will resist simply because it comes from Trump. It suggests there is a good possibility he will be gone in 2021.

Personally I like the idea of taking El Chapo's $14 billion to fund building a wall. Obama used such seizures to fund liberal groups, Trump could use for something that actually benefits the country.
