Not the mess it's been in ever since, nor was it costing hundreds of thousands of lives and vast amounts of treasure.

Talked to who, the hundreds of thousands that are no longer living? You think they and their families are glad we came?

No, Trigglypuff. The people of Kuwait who no longer live in daily fear of Sadaam Hussein conquering them. They are far more secure now htat he is gone.

You are as ignorant of history as you are of scripture, Jim.
The first to state his case seems right until another comes and cross-examines him.

Who said anything about Kuwait? We are not talking about G.H.W. Bush's defense of Kuwait, we are talking about G.W. Bush's unjustified war against Iraq. Try to keep up Bill.

              The irony in that post!

They are related. And the people of the fertile crescent know they are related. Try to keep up Jim...

No, they are not. G.Bush senior went in, booted Sadaam Hussain and his rag tag army out of Kuwait and then left well enough alone. That didn't cause the mess that we have been dealing with over there for the last 16 years. That G.Jr. and D. Cheney's doing.

Uh, yes they are. There remained a No Fly Zone until Iraq's leadership fell for a reason. Both wars were related.

No they didn't. We maintained a presence in Kuwait from that point on. And we selectively enforced the no fly zone over Southern and Northern Iraq, and despite Iraq violating it unencumbered a number of times under Bill Clinton, we maintained a military presence to keep him in check. Again, I was there in the late 90s "boots on the ground" and I'd wager you've not been anywhere near there at the time.

Obama did that by letting ISIS (the J.V. team) run amok until they were a very, very dangerous threat to the tenuous stability of the area.

                    That G.Jr. and D. Cheney's doing.
No it wasn't. The Iraqis are enjoying their democracy, and learning to fight for themselves against the caliphate because of Jr and Cheney, but more directly the US Army and Marine Corps. The "mess" is only a mess because of radical Islam, and predates anything we as a country have done.
