Yeah, everyone knows it was all the fault of Nakoula Basseley Nakoula.

Yeah, it was, and your own new minority leader in the House, Rep. Kevin McCarthy, admitted it. Not that those of us with a brain needed to hear it from him in order to know what was going on. It seems that the republican constituency are just a very gullible lot. I guess that's why you are republicans.

Yeah that's a bald faced lie. He said the investigation may have hurt Hillary's image, but he did not in any way say that it was BS. Her getting off for dereliction of duty is what was BS.

And you finally have a brain? Fed Ex delivered today?

No, what he said was that the hearings were intended to hurt Hillary's image. That was the purpose of spending all that tax payer money, wasting all that time, to rile up idiots like yourself. Guess what? As usual it worked. You guys are so easily played.

You don't even know where I get my information, Jim.
I don't care how much you dislike Hillary, nobody is worse than the pathalogical lying treasonous crook that you voted for and continue to defend.
                I'm aware you think so.

No he didn't. He said they hurt her image. It was a side effect of trying to get the truth of her negligence, which went ignored anyway.

He said the special committee was intended to hurt her image, they spent millions of our tax dollars and wasted all that time trying to destroy her image because they were afraid she was unbeatable. It went ignored, as you put it, because it was ignor-ant. Like I said before, you republicans are so easily played, you actually thought it would go somewhere.

                        No he didn't, liar.

"And let me give you one example. Everybody thought Hillary Clinton was unbeatable, right? But we put together a Benghazi special committee, a select committee. What are her numbers today? Her numbers are dropping. Why? Because she's un-trustable. But no one would have known any of that had happened had we not fought and made that happen."

And that interview happened in 2015, not recently.

It's a reference to Shakespeare (Hamlet). Once in a while, JimL surprises me.

I know the quote Bill, and I know when it was said. I also know, unlike yourself, the intent of the special committee. Like you said, nothing came of it, and that's because there was nothing to it, it was bs. The usual waste of taxpayer money for partisan political purposes. I know you don't believe that, but then again, you are a republican for a reason.
