    • So, the best example of toxic masculinity is that some of us guys like to be nice to women?

What has the world come to?

And at the same time we are accused of being too nice to women, Tassy is accusing us of being too mean to them and enslaving them!

He needs to make up his mind.

Well, I'm glad he finally backed down from his claim that he treats his wife no differently than he treats other people. That was about to be his Michael Dukakis moment.

When my son was still a baby, our cat thought he needed to learn how to hunt, so the stupid thing found a nest of bunnies somewhere and kept bringing them into my son's room and setting them loose. Guess who was responsible for capturing the bunnies and releasing them outside? It happened at least three times as far as I can remember.

And behind every unsuccessful man is a strong woman saying "I knew he was a bum!"

A wife who asks her husband, "Is it OK if I buy a new laptop?" is showing submission. A husband who says, "Certainly. Let's work out a budget to make it happen," is showing love and respect.

I lived by myself for 7 years before we were married, so even now it’s still something I don’t ask and just so something about it.

That’s mainly because the man would forget his head if it wasn’t for his wife to remind him to grab it before he leaves.

It's funny how so many of us dumb guys are able to convince smart women to marry us.

Both sides make decisions, keeping each other informed and obtaining permission, one of the other equally. It’s a partnership, not “submission” on either side. The days of Patriarchy with the male controlling the purse-strings and making all the decisions are long-gone in Western society. Or should be.

Or does she just do whatever, and you're sitting at home wondering where she's off to and why your bank account is empty?
This sounds like a failing marriage or a failing relationship to me.
