Could you do that without gasping for breath?

Would you open a car door for a fit healthy lady, why? Would you open it for a fit healthy man, why not? The days when women were treated as fragile, helpless individuals have gone. They now have equal rights and equal responsibilities in every respect. My goodness, they even vote nowadays and are allowed to run for office and run corporations and countries and stuff.

Uh, no. More like denying women the right to vote and other forms of cultural oppression such as fewer political opportunities, social and economic rights. Women have been unjustly held back from achieving full equality for much of human history. Holding the car door open for them is poor compensation for what until recently, has historically been taken away.

          • So we SHOULDN'T treat women with respect because they were oppressed in the past. Got it.

Opening the car door for a woman in order to impress them, as if they need you, is not treating them with respect, and if it is then why would you not treat a man with the same respect? You treat women that way for yourself, not for the women.

Why don't you open the car door for men, Lilpix? Don't you respect them?

So I take it there’s still no second date?

Meanwhile I’m so empowered that I don’t need to scrape my own windshield or warm up my own car.

My wife actually likes the feeling of being cared for and protected.

I wouldn't be surprised if there was no first date!

But the lefties think that the women who control them don't want to be treated that way, so they have to denounce anybody who treats a woman like a lady.
