A prayer for murdered child

This morning I heard that the little girl that was abducted in Florida (Amy ..?) has been found dead. This is my prayer.

Dear Lord, I pray that you would take the soul of this little girl into your arms, comfort her and welcome her into your eternal kingdom. I pray that you give comfort to her family and friends and help them to bear this terrible loss. I pray for all children that have been murdered and their families. I pray for all parents of young children, that they may be given the wisdom to take appropriate steps to protect their children from those that might do them harm.

Next, I pray that I might be given the strength to not hate the man that committed this terrible crime, knowing that, difficult as it may be for us to understand, you still love him and that Jesus has commanded me to love him too. Lord, this is the hardest commandment that we have; I know that we can only even attempt it with your help. I pray that this man, and all those that have committed such crimes should come to repentance and receive your forgiveness. I pray that those who may be tempted to commit such crimes should realise how wrong their urges are and seek help, from Earthly councellors and, most importantly, from you.

I pray in Jesus' name.

My great-niece Rosa was just raped and brutally stabbed by my nephew Icey, she was missing this evening and her mother and cousins were looking for her and they found my nephew digging a grave getting ready to bury her. I just feel so empty and need help. I don't even know what to think or how to feel.

Thank you so much, they caught my nephew a few hours later, but his parents are in full denial about it all and they have begun picking fights with the rest of the family, even going so far to attack little Rosa's mother, blaming her and everybody else for "getting their son drunk". It's tremendously heartbreaking because, as we all know, nobody held a gun to his head and forced him to drink anything. The familial conflict is almost worse than the actual murder. I feel a horrible sense of loss because we lost both of them, the child and the murderer. i feel so bad for him because i know what kind of treatment he will receive in prison, most prisoners do not tolerate child molesters and child murderers.
