        Suuuuuurrrree.

So you think doing evil is fine for you and your team because you're convinced your opponents do it? I guess that is part of what so disgusts me about you as a person and your "morals" - you combine a paranoid and delusional view about the world and your opponents with a "morality" where ends justify the means, and as a result appear to feel justified in stooping to any low or doing any evil. Interacting with you sickens me.

Especially because we've already had a couple of threads about false claims on this subject.

Given we've already had 2 threads of debunking false claims about what AOC said / wants, my patience is wearing thin.

Less than a week after raging against cow farts and urging Americans to stop eating so many hamburgers, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez was caught oozing with hypocrisy.

The claim would indeed seem to be false.
Originally posted by Kyle Olsen, Ocasio-Cortez decides Americans ‘shouldn’t be eating a hamburger for breakfast, lunch and dinner’, The American Mirror
it’s not to say you get rid of agriculture. It’s not to say we’re going to force everybody to go vegan or anything crazy like that,” Ocasio-Cortez added.

She continued, “But it’s to say, listen, we’ve got to address factory farming. Maybe we shouldn’t be eating a hamburger for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Like, let’s keep it real.”
The cited article is highly critical of Cortez.
The "offending" comment reflects medical opinion regarding the detrimental effects of junk diets, particularly the attendant rising occurrence of obesity and associated health difficulties.
Should someone who speaks in opposition to over-indulgence in alcohol be lambasted in similar terms because an associate, or even he himself, has a glass of wine with his meal?
Engaging in hypocrisy while indulging in hypocrisy now ... that is something that might best be avoided.

You lot really can't cope with opposing views, can you? I guess this is because your own views cannot withstand scrutiny.

                  Rave on.
                  It's almost a civic duty.

While I don't for a moment think they'll change because far too many see themselves as exempt from what they preach because they're better than those unwashed masses. But pointing out their hypocritical double standards (which they typically try to hand wave away as "whataboutism") shows a lot of people that they really don't believe in a lot of what they pontificate about or else they wouldn't ignore it when it comes to themselves[1] (let me get on my private jet to go tell the plebes to use less energy and pollute less. Let me go make a speech saying guns should be banned even though everywhere I go I have armed guards...). If they really believed it they would live by example[2] rather than continuously act like that doesn't include them -- that they're above all that.

                  1. Yes there is hypocrisy on the right as well but very rarely is it flaunted like the left does and rarely are they so sanctimonious and/or hysterical about it.

                  2. There are the occasional exceptions like Ed Begley Jr., but they are few and far between.

Which is why I referred to it as "gotchaism" although the left thinks it is completely valid and fair when they use it but react in self-righteous indignation whenever the tables are turned.

I like how the Starlight’s of the world just flat ignore how her office released a FAQ which went after greenhouse gas producing cows or pretends that liberals haven’t been going after the beef industry in attempts to regulate greenhouse gasses released by cows.

I am going to switch sides here and defend AOC. Her friend eating a hamburger was not hypocrisy, it was activism. He was only doing his part to end cow farts by eating cows. No cows, no farts. We should all help out by eating more beef.

Only we can prevent cow farts! Eat a burger!
