Recently I have seen a number of claims demonizing Obama as anti-Christian and putting Trump on the pro-Christian pedestal particularly in the area of immigration. The facts present a different picture.

Trump also neglects that the majority of the Christians support Assad in part because of his threat to burn their churches down. As long as they tow the line no one is going to loose their heads.Glendower: I can call spirits from the vasty deep.

So, lemme try to understand this...
Trump isn't necessarily hostile to Christian refugees in particular, or singling them out, but the net effect of his policy appears to be adversely and disproportionally affecting them? The first to state his case seems right until another comes and cross-examines him.

The reason I ask is because the article particularly states:
The Trump administration is hostile to Christian refugees for the same reason that it opposes other legal immigrants to the United States: they could take jobs from Americans, commit crimes, and use welfare in the United States. Never mind that they commit crimes at lower rates than Americans, that even the Trump administration has found that refugees are fiscally positive for the United States, and that employed refugees create better paying jobs for existing workers.
It could be that it's not so much that he's "hostile to Christian refugees" in particular, as the article seems to say, but that they're simply lost in the overall policy.
And I'm not trying to defend Trump at all -- just trying to understand this. The first to state his case seems right until another comes and cross-examines him.
