I was responding to seer’s “He [Jesus] didn't say anything about rape either”. But he did say a lot about loving others and, whichever way you look at it, rape can never be described as "loving". .

He didn't have to say anything about rape, because it was pretty much universally known that it was a bad thing. Kinda like homosexuality. He DID speak against fornication, which even includes a wide number of "informed consent" partnerships. In fact - all "informed consent" acts outside marriage.

So, your "informed consent" excuse is toast.

Right Jim, Christ ushered in a New Covenant. Christians do not live under a Theocracy like the Hebrews did. The Theocracy will return with Christ's second coming and it will be universal. And God will judge us at that point, and those who are found wanting will be executed - that is called the "second death."
