      Anyway, you might want to actually read your source carefully, because the matter in question wasn't a summary of an investigation, it was a summary of Barr's own legal opinion that he had submitted to the White House in confidence. There was nothing "damning" or "damaging" in it. It was just Barr offering his own legal insight.

      So...
      In fairness to Barr, these statements of international law were not the principal conclusions of the opinion. And, once again, it is not so relevant to our purposes whether these statements of law were wrong. What’s relevant is that Barr represented to Congress in his written and oral testimony that the OLC opinion did not address these legal issues, even though it did.
      The suspicion is that Barr’s loyalty is not to the country but to the Republican POTUS. We expect to see a heavily censored Mueller report tomorrow and look forward to reading the entire story in due course.
