According to liberals who have been reading the released report, an innocent man who is falsely accused is supposed to sit back quietly and let himself be railroaded by a corrupt investigation without ever uttering a single word in his own defense. Otherwise, it's obstruction of justice.

Always mischaracterizing the truth.
The correct analysis is this: An innocent man accused of a crime is expected to let the investigation proceed without interference: without attempts to stop it or otherwise compromise it.
