No, actually the great majority of the party is still against beginning impeachment at this time. That's hardly being bullied. But, if the obstruction continues, and congress continues to be denied the evidence and the testimony of the witnesses, then I believe the Speaker will understand that she has no choice but to begin hearings in order to free up that evidence. What concerns me is that there are so many of you out there who support the Presidents obstruction and are afraid of the public seeing the evidence first hand. Trumps rallies look like something out of Hitlers 1930's speaches. Pretty scary!

If the evidence is not forthcoming, then the only ones being damaged would be the democrats. So, what is Trump hiding? Why has he, and why does he, continue to obstruct the facts from getting out? And why are you so afraid of the facts getting out.

I don't think the Democrats are at all confident that an impeachment vote would succeed because, first of all, the case against Trump is so weak, and secondly, there are enough vulnerable Democrats up for reelection in 2020 who could break from the party in order to save their own skins at the ballot box.
First off, the case is not weak, it is very very strong. Don't go by me, just ask the 1000 former federal prosecutors who signed a letter saying so. The vulnerable democrats is a good political reason for going slow, for getting the facts out to the public, but when push comes to shove, vulnerable or not, in the end, Pelosi will have no choice but to do what the Constitution demands of Congress. A lawless wannabe tyrant, possible traitor, can't be allowed to lawlessly abuse the power of the office.

Trump allowed the full Mueller report to be released when he could have declared executive privilege. Does that sound like a man afraid of letting the facts be known?

There are at least 69 who can be identified, and the number is growing.

That, I believe, leaves 166 against! Not that they are against impeachment per se, but they, like Pelosi would rather the public be more fully informed of the facts before filing for impeachment. There are many members of Congress who themselves have admitted to not yet reading the full Mueller report.

You didn't get any smarter on your little vacation, did you? I claimed she was being bullied by her party, and somehow, you think that "bullying" requires a "great majority"? And you have no proof that 166 are against. All it takes for bullying to happen is for one or more individuals to act up, and a bunch of others just stay out of the way.

And even CNN which you cite above says that "Impeachment appears politically risky for Democrats for many reasons..."

And you and I both know that, in a situation like this, there will be some in the party who will be allowed/encouraged to speak for or against something based on their vulnerability in an upcoming election.

Hitler’s political speeches and rallies are really not much different than 98% of political speeches and rallies are. I just think it would be funny to watch Jimmy justify that tin foil hat wearing insanity.
