Actually that is exactly the tactics used by the GOP, but what you're doing is buying in to Trumps accussation of a deep state conspiracy, a coup, an overthrow of his administration, while all the while he is attempting to overthrow the U.S government and democracy in general. He now has the DOJ, the IRS, the Treasury or at least the head of it, doing his bidding and defying the law. Fortunately the courts are still in tact and the democratic congress is not under his sway as are the corrupted republicans. You are helping him in this effort to overthrow the government, to put himself above the law, and we will see who wins out in the end.

Nope. I'm afraid of the obvious, which you are to biasedly blind to see. Atty Gen. Barr is going to release that which favors the President, he'll spin it just as he did in his bogus summary of the original release of the Mueller report. That's not transparency, that's manipulation of the facts.

Not at all, but you are. Impeachment is coming at any rate, so, much to your chagrin, the facts will come out, one way or the other

First, you mean "intact". Second, lemme give you a little more to worry and rant over...

Trump is capturing the judiciary at an alarming rate

Judges confirmed by the president – 92 to date – have shown loyalty to their party which seeks to roll back decades of progress.

To date, 92 judges selected by Trump have been confirmed: two for the supreme court, 37 for the circuit courts of appeal, and 53 for the district courts (the entry level trial courts). Thirty-nine nominations have cleared the Senate judiciary committee (two appellate and 37 trial court) and are pending Senate confirmation – which means they could be confirmed any day. Twenty-one of these 39 were voted out of committee on a vote of 12-10 (54%) which means on strict party line votes – supported only by Republican senators. Finally, 61 more nominations (six appellate and 55 trial court) have been made. To date, Trump has appointed nearly 22% of the appellate judges with more surely to come. Only six of the 13 circuits have a majority of Democratic appointees and that number will decrease in the remaining months of his presidency.

          Please continue the rant.

That's a lie, JimmyLou. I want the truth to come out, regardless of where the chips fall.

Impeachment is not a sure thing, and even if it happens, there's still the Senate that must vote to remove Trump.

Never mind that nobody has yet shown any discrepancy between Barr's letter to Congress and Mueller's report. And honestly, Jimmy, try to use a little logic in your rants: if Barr was intent on covering for the President then why did he release the full report with minimal redactions, and why did he agree to publicly testify before the Senate? It's Mueller and his team who have expressed a reluctance to be publicly questioned, and Democrats sure don't seem eager to compel him to. Why aren't you suspicious of that?

                Only moments ago...

“We’re not at that place,” Pelosi said at a Thursday news conference, when the question of impeachment came up. That caution came after she noted that the investigations currently underway in the House could lead to “a place that is unavoidable in terms of impeachment.” She also asserted that the White house “is just crying out” for impeachment, which she likely sees as a trap.

I really think Trump would LOVE for the Democrats to begin impeachment proceedings, particularly as the basis for the Mueller report comes under more scrutiny.

Well, that's Trumps only bet at the moment. If the dems impeach now, without public hearings, without all the evidence being out there for the american people to see, then that would give cover to the majority republican Senate to aquit and it would all be for not. The dems want the american people to see all the evidence, to hear all the testimony, so that when the Senate has its trial, presided over by Justice Roberts, they will think twice about aquitting the President when his unfitness for the job is well known by the public. It's going to happen, no doubt about that, but it will happen according to the dems timeline, not the Presidents. Aren't you glad Nancy Pelosi became speaker now!

The fact is that you have no idea what Barr didn't release, but what he did release, which he didn't have much choice in doing, there is far and away enough evidence to indict the president. And you don't have to take my word for it, there are 900 former federal prosecutors who've signed a letter saying just that.

Mueller himself said that Barr's letter was neither inaccurate nor misleading.

And Barr certainly did have a choice whether or not to release the report. The only thing he was legally compelled to do was send a letter to Congress outlining the key findings. His actions are not those of a man trying to cover anything up.

Mueller: The Atty Gen's summary "did not capture the context,, nature, or substance of the special councils report." Btw, the special council never exonerated the President on obstruction, but Barr did. Yet we know that the evidence of obstruction, as evinced in the report itself, is way beyond a reasonable doubt. And that doesn't count the many federal and state criminal charges that the President is facing whether he is impeached or not concerning conspiracy.

He had already testified to congress that he would release everything in the report that he could without jeopardizing national security. He had no choice but to attempt to look as though he was actually doing the peoples business and not the presidents.
