The mother is more than just a container for the fetus. The fetus is a part of the maternal organism until such time as it can live separately from the mother. And, until the fetus is viable it is nonsensical to grant it the status of a person, with all the rights and privileges under law of a person.
And no the fetus is not part of the mother's body. That is why there is a placenta. To keep the organisms separated.

Noun - a female parent - "She's the mother of three small children"
Adjective - of, relating to, or being a mother
Verb - to give birth to / to care for or protect like a mother
None of that would allow harm to come to her baby.
*fair warning - that page also, as part of the definition, includes the F bomb. The first to state his case seems right until another comes and cross-examines him.

Do we now add a "no real mother would ..." to the list of logical fallacies?1Cor 15:34 Come to your senses as you ought and stop sinning; for I say to your shame, there are some who know not God.

A similar poll conducted in 1939 - through Germany, would have returned similar results in favour of a pogrom against Jews.
A similar poll conducted in 1939 - through England, Canada, America, Australia, and New Zealand would have returned similar results in favour of denying Jews refuge. (Not in Japan though)
A similar poll conducted in 1960 would have returned similar results in favour of retaining the illegality of homosexual relationships.
Results from opinion polls don't reflect any particular influence with regard to what is right or wrong.1Cor 15:34 Come to your senses as you ought and stop sinning; for I say to your shame, there are some who know not God.

Meanwhile, two-dozen liberal celebrities appear in a commercial proclaiming, "We believe in standing up for those who can't stand up for themselves."
They are referring to chickens raised in inhumane conditions for the fast-food industry.
