  • Ok, found the story, and yeah, it's nothing. A few anonymous employees claim they saw suspicious activity on Trump's account; their bosses looked into and found nothing. The end.

    • This is Bloomberg:

Multiple transactions involving legal entities controlled by President Donald Trump and his son-in-law Jared Kushner aroused the suspicion of anti-money laundering specialists at Deutsche Bank AG in 2016 and 2017, according to the New York Times.

The specialists recommended the matter be referred to a unit of the Treasury Department that polices financial crimes, but executives at Deutsche Bank -- which has lent billions of dollars to the Trump and Kushner companies -- rejected their advice, the newspaper reported on Sunday.

Trump on Monday defended his banking practices on Twitter, disputing the Times’ reporting that no other mainstream banks wanted to do business with him. “WRONG!” Trump wrote. “It is because I didn’t need money.”

You are making stuff up now. The bosses took no action. That does not mean that the activity should not have been reported.

"Real estate developers like Mr. Trump and Mr. Kushner sometimes do large, all-cash deals, including with people outside the United States, any of which can prompt anti-money laundering reviews. The red flags raised by employees do not necessarily mean the transactions were improper. Banks sometimes opt not to file suspicious activity reports if they conclude their employees’ concerns are unwarranted."

These are transactions with Russians and he lied about his Russian contacts. Why?
You would be a hopeless detective.

It is true that one of the first things that Trump did after Mueller was published was call Putin to tell him that the crisis was over. The administration has done nothing about the Russian attacks and is leaving the door open to more interference leading up to the 2020 election. As a reward for the Russian attack, US-Russian relations are set to ‘improve’.

I appreciate the effort CP. I feel strongly that we are brothers in arms, somewhat like Putin and Trump, or at least, Batman and Robin. If we continue to work together, we are invincible, and good will eventually, in all likelihood according to the breaks, triumph over evil.

Justin Amash has deep financial ties to China** and is spooked that the Trump tariffs are going to crush his fortune.

But I'm sure that has nothing to do with his sudden insistence that Trump should be removed from office.
