If you're pro-life, it seems the Dems aren't for you - though hasn't this been the case for a long while now? As far as I can see from across the pond the recent 'surge' in pro-choice support is largely due to laws currently being passed like those in Alabama and the aim to get SCOTUS to overturn RvW.

Naturally, that is why many chose to vote Trump in - for the SCOTUS seat(s) for exactly this purpose- but it can't come as a surprise to anyone here that the planned attacks on this particular ruling has resulted in a push back?

Interesting in the state of Louisiana a fetal heartbeat bill has been introduced by a Democrat and the Governor, also a Democrat, has said he would sign it.

Huh, He'll be lucky to still be in office at that time. He'll be lucky to not be indicted or in prison. Personally I think republicans would be better off nominating Bill Weld, a good man and a true republican. Weld will tear Trump to shreds in a debate setting, he'll at least divide the party thus paving the way for the new democrat President, Elizabeth Warren.

In the past, it was fairly easy for somebody to be a Democrat and pro-life. That's almost non-existent in Democrat leadership these days. It's getting harder and harder to "hold your nose and vote Democrat" if you are pro-life, because they are so aggressively going after ZERO LIMITS on abortion.



I think that's the point -- the 'middle ground' is all but totally gone. You don't even hear "abortions should be safe, legal and rare" anymore.
