  • Ocasio-Cortez & Ted Cruz Working TOGETHER?

Ocasio-Cortez, Cruz strike Twitter pact to work together on lobbying legislation

Let's see if anything like this has even a snowball's chance in the hot place.
The first to state his case seems right until another comes and cross-examines him.

It is a good idea though....

It's an excellent idea - which is why I don't think it has a snowball's chance.

I'll believe it when I see it. Plenty of politicians have ran on "clean up the swamp" type platforms and just joined the machine themselves. Ocasio-Cortez and Cruz are probably two of the members of Congress who really do most believe in their principles so I don't doubt either of them are sincere here, but...

Blast the children in other nations into eternity, or limbless misery as they lay crippled from "OUR" bombers! This does not jell." - Leonard Ravenhill

I'm not sure I agree with a permanent ban... but I would be perfectly happy with a lengthy suspension (say, 10-20 years) from doing so.

...it's an uphill battle to be sure.

I'd say 80-100 years would be more effective.

I don't know, if they present a clean bill it would be hard to vote against - then try to explain that back home.

I'm cautiously pleased to see this Ted Cruz I trust and while I do not agree with AOC on her socialism this is a good idea and if they can make it a clean bill it will show which politicians of both partys are thinking about their pocket books insteasd of doing their constitutional duties.

I'm hoping for the best, but prepared for the worst.
