I often point out that I live in Denmark. Which is a very secular country. Here religious signs in public places just aren't a problem. People just see it as traditional, or part of a buildings history, but they don't take offense at it.
The atheists in the US are weird about religion. Atheists in Denmark don't even bother calling themselves that, most in fact just call themselves Christians.

Over here, it is not that anyone is actually offended by it, but the atheists just want to stick it to the Christians out of spite and know they can use the first amendment against them. It's pure bigotry.

I wonder how many of the people who support removing the cross were sad about the fire at Notre Dame."I am not angered that the Moral Majority boys campaign against abortion. I am angry when the same men who say, "Save OUR children" bellow "Build more and bigger bombers." That's right! Blast the children in other nations into eternity, or limbless misery as they lay crippled from "OUR" bombers! This does not jell." - Leonard Ravenhill
