The United States Holocaust Memorial Museum has something to say about those who are calling the detention camps on the border "concentration camps" -- and they're none too pleased:

Source: Statement Regarding the Museum’s Position on Holocaust Analogies

The United States Holocaust Memorial Museum unequivocally rejects efforts to create analogies between the Holocaust and other events, whether historical or contemporary. That position has repeatedly and unambiguously been made clear in the Museum’s official statement on the matter – a statement that is reiterated and reaffirmed now. The link to the Museum’s statement is here.

The Museum further reiterates that a statement ascribed to a Museum staff historian regarding recent attempts to analogize the situation on the United States southern border to concentration camps in Europe during the 1930s and 1940s does not reflect the position of the Museum.

The Museum deeply regrets any offense to Holocaust survivors and others that may have been engendered by any statement ascribed to a Museum historian in a personal capacity.

And recently Rosie O’Donnell was on Bravo where she was talking about the detention camps.

Yeah, the concentration camps, even though there’s lots of controversy about the word. But actually, legitimate scholars who study genocide say, yes, these are, in fact, the criteria for concentration camps, they meet them. There are over 100,000 camps in nearly every state.

Is she really that insane as to believe there are that many camps or did she mean to claim that there are 100,000 detainees in nearly every state (which would be 4,500,000 if they were in say 45 states)? This is absurd as well but not so barking dog mad as if she meant what she said.

I'm always still in trouble again

The whole situation reflects the inability of Congress to create laws that fix any problems. Now Congress is being aided in this by the Wayfair workers.

No, they're not 'concentrated' - and in any case the living conditions are wholly unintentional. The most one can legitimately say is 'detained.' They're not even 'camps' in that sense, as they're meant to be temporary (what, 72 hours?).

They don't want to do their job because they are using the pain of the people in these camps as a weapon to use against Trump, so the worse off the people in the camps are, the better for congress to use as a weapon. They want it to be as bad as possible. They want suffering.
