As it happens, neither do I. He isn't my president, so I don't have skin in that particular game. Though as I'd be considered Liberal by the standards here and he seems to be rather like marmite I can see why you may jump to that conclusion. As I pointed out in the rest of the post you didn't see fit to respond to and those prior, we sem to be getting hung up on the content of the ambassador's leaked memo, rather than the fact that it was leaked.

The leak itself is a UK concern - the contents are what concern the US.

I never jumped to that conclusion.

Not really Tea. He implied that it was up to Mueller to indict, or to recommend indictment, which with respect to a sitting President means a recommendation for Congress to impeach. No, Mueller can't do either of those things, and he explained why in his opinion he could not. He was following DOJ guidelines regarding a sitting President. His only alternative was to gather the evidence and hand it over to Congress for their analysis and decision which is their job as overseer's of the executive branch. Atty Gen Barr then decided to take it upon himself to misrepresent the Mueller report, before turning it over to Congress, asserting the Presidents innocence, which is why Mueller felt the need to set the record straight.

Already did. Rachel Maddow beat out Sean Hannity. You all believe Maddow is as bad if not worse than you believe CNN is. So what happened? Who knows why CNN is lagging, they're probably losing their viewers to MSNBC, not conservative news.

Not that I really care that much, but do you have a source for this? Everything I can find in a search in Google limited to this month (quarter 2 2019) says that Rachel Maddow is still well below Sean Hannity in straight Nielsen viewer ratings.

As far as I can tell Rachel Maddow only ever beat Hannity when measured against "adults 25-54 in Q1 of this year." But overall, his numbers were still higher than hers, and that he "was able to reclaim the throne in that important demo this quarter."

Er, Jim, I'm pretty sure that's not what he meant, but I'll leave it to him to clarify.

Yeah, it was disgusting to see Trump sign bill after bill into law during the two years the Republicans had control of the House and the Senate.

Obviously this is sarcasm. When I read carpe's post I was surprised at it. I don't follow politics nearly as close as you all do, but it was my understanding that Republicans barely stand Trump in office, and have done nearly all they can do in their power to undermine him. Honestly, I'd love to see Trump surplanted, but that doesn't look like it's happening anytime soon, and not because the Republicans don't want to replace him, but because they can't come up with anyone better (in manner of speaking) in the short term. The Dems are shooting themselves in the foot with their candidate selection, and Trump appears to be a shoe in for reelection, so they're probably thinking they shouldn't rock the boat too much.

She tended to pull ahead back when there would be one of the fabricated "bombshells" was released and we'd be told that this meant the end of Trump. The TDS crowd would tune in to get the details and anticipate the end of Trump. When it was shown that the bombshell was a dud her viewership would drop back down. And now, post-Mueller report it has stayed down except for a blip when the MSM tried to make a mountain out of a molehill about Mueller not "exonerating" Trump wrt to obstruction
