    Jim,

I really wish YOU would think about the comparison you're making. I know you're quite sincere in making it, but frankly that says more about you than our current political situation. We are not Wiemar Germany. Not. Even. Close.

I don't know if Trump's father was in the KKK or was friendly with them, but even at its peak, KKK membership was still not the norm for American citizens. I find it completely unbelievable that it ever had 50 plus million members. There's gotta be a typo there some place. And as far as I can recall, the KKK was at it's peak in the 20s (no doubt in part to the success of The Birth of a Nation), and it's membership dropped dramatically after that point. Also, wasn't Fred Trump a lifelong New Yorker?

You mean like Democrats vigorously defending the racists and anti-Semites in their own party?

Not all four women were guilty of this, but Trump generalized all in one bucket with a classic racist phrase that his devoted followers chimed in in mass.

There are constructive positive ways for Trump to respond to the Democrats he is criticizing.

The entire Dem contingent in the house were guilty of refusing to specifically censure the ones who made the anti-Semitic comments.

And it's amazing how Trump has managed to force Pelosi to defend their idiocy.

Hitler used the same kind of rhetoric concerning the Jews that Trump is using with respect to people of color. The comparison is a fair one.
