Of course it was political, it was also racist, unamerican, and undemocratic. Stop trying to rationalize it, MM. Recognizing the political strategy of using racism to the delight of many in his base, doesn't change the fact that it is racism.

But... his remark wasn't racist. Not even a little.

There are some crediting Trump for putting Pelosi in the position of having to defend them - again - from Trump's stupid (or masterful, depending now on who you ask) tweet.

Have you read the reply? Obviously, no. And you were dumb enough to only quote the hideously out of date part - and now instead of posting like you said you would, you keep insisting I read the thing.

There are none so blind as those who refuse to see! He has a history, seer. His father was a KKK supporter, if not a member, and Trump and his father refused to rent to black people, Trump called for, took a full page ad out of the N.Y. Times advocating for, the execution of the central park 5, 5 black kids who turned out to be innocent. He also knew that he had no case for his birtherism attack on Obama, yet he lied and lied to the delight of his soon to be white supremisist base of support. Now he is attacking 4 duly elected congresswomen of color and telling them to go back to what he called their s...hole countries, as if to say you have no say in this government, in this country. Apparently, he is not only racist, but he thinks that he is already King.

Jim, do you have any idea how big the KKK was in the 1950's? It was freaking huge - some estimates have membership at 50,000,000 +! There aren't many people from the South or the Midwest who don't have that skeleton in the closet - and those aren't the only regions the KKK was present in.

And that's not exactly what he said, is it? he told them to go back, fix those countries and come back here. A true racist wouldn't have continued the sentiment to include a return invitation.

Okay, I'm gonna try to be a good girl and leave this thread alone for a good while - has NOTHING to do with anyone here. I'm under a lot of physical stress and today ain't gonna be fun, either. I wanna not blow up at innocent people... Yeah, I suppose that includes Shuny....

I guess you missed the many testimonials, and the documented references to Trump's racism in his business dealings. Reading comprehensive problem?

The left's definition of racism is specious at best.

                      Not a coherent rational response.

A recent poll found that around 30% of liberals believe that it is racist to disagree with the opinion of a minority person. So, yeah...

Think about what you are defending.

People wonder how Hitler was sble to gain the power he did. How could the good people let it happen?

My brethren, do not hold your faith in our glorious Lord Jesus Christ with an attitude of personal favoritism. James 2:1

If anyone thinks himself to be religious, and yet does not  bridle his tongue but deceives his own heart, this man’s religion is worthless James 1:26

This you know, my beloved brethren. But everyone must be quick to hear, slow to speak and slow to anger; James 1:19
