I know. That's why I sort of made that point in my previous post.

One of the worst extinctions in the planet's history is clearly correlated with CO2 rise
https://skepticalscience.com/Burgess...aps-Dates.html
As for the 30's through the 60's - there are in fact known climate cycles. Further, as of 1930 the CO2 level, while increasing, was only rising at about 25ppm per 40 years. Since 1980 that rise has been closer to 25ppm every 10 years - or 4x as fast. That uptick changes things - specifically it changes whether the signal from CO2 induced warming is significantly stronger than the signal from normal cyclical climate variation.
Wattsup and anti-AGW folks are good at cherry picking, but long on a complete analysis of all the data. Going through the article and picking apart each element that is wrong or distorted (usually just leaving out other data that invalidates the conclusion) is not something I have time to do right now. But the bottom line is - it's just wrong.

So, isn't CO2 actually good to have, because otherwise all the plants would die and then so would we?
Are we to eliminate human life and animal life to stop the horrendous outflow of this deadly gas, and then allow the plants to also die, so that the planet might be saved?
I don't understand fanatic environmentalists. They seem plain stupid. And they ignore basic science.
CO2 is also a greenhouse gas. So as it's concentration increases in the atmosphere, the amount of heat trapped by the atmosphere goes up as well. This is basic physics. So the only possible debate is can the amount of increase in CO2 account for the amount of measured increase in temperature. The overwhelming majority of scientists on the planet with expertise in climate answer that question 'yes, it can'.
In creased temperatures melt ice caps and glaciers and permafrost. Melting Ice caps and glaciers and permafrost put more CO2 into that atmosphere, along with even more powerful GH hasses like methane, and they reduce the amount of heat that gets reflected back into space. These are called feebacks. But rising CO2 is the 'forcing'.
Melting glaciers and Ice caps raise sea levels. Rising sea levels and reduced ice impact coastal regions (where a lot of humanity lives) and arctic life the most. But a warming atmosphere also means warming seas. And warming seas mean more powerful tropical storms and negative impacts on sea life.
https://www.climate.gov/news-feature...obal-sea-level
Rising CO2 also increases the carbonic acid in the sea itself. Acidifcation of the seas kills sea life, like coral reefs. Coral reefs hold a substantial position in the food chain. So dying coral reefs impact the overall food chain in the sea.
https://ocean.si.edu/ocean-life/inve...-acidification
Is all the change bad? Not necessarily. But a lot of it is.

In order to move away from that, this new eco-movement is concerned about a number of things including the use (or overuse) of water, poisons, fuel, and money to make lawns look maintained, and for the preservation of bees and butterflies, and the like. Instead, they suggest either growing wild flowers, or landscaping with rocks and flower or vegetable gardens.
Can't they bioengineer some grass that prevents weeds and only grows 2 inches tall? Come on people! This is the 21st Century! Let's see some science here!

Here in Georgia a lot of yards have "pine islands." We just put a bunch of pine straw around tree clusters making it so there is a lot less area to mow. One place I lived was on a quarter acre lot and when I got bored I counted the number of trees on the property. It was somewhere around 140 to 160.
