There's a TV set up with Roku in my house - but evidently it wants a login that no longer exists. At the moment, it's merrily bouncing its logo around the screen like a one sided game of Pong. The remote that came with it is probably in a dump somewhere - assuming we didn't burn it during the Great Clean Up.

Is there a way to access this thing and set up a new account? Get a new remote? Or should I just disconnect it and get a new one?

I have an Apple TV, an Amazon Firestick, A Roku box and a Roku TV.

Of them all I like the Roku best. My Roku box has the best resolution (4K, even though I don't have a 4K tv) and I think the picture quality is much better than the Apple TV or Firestick. Brighter colors, sharper image. My Roku TV doesn't have as good a picture. It is one of those TCL Roku TVs. I got it for $80 on sale at walmart. The TV picture is not that great but I just use it in my bedroom. Its only 720P too.

True, but it can also muck you up if you are a novice.
