Sorry, I meant that Dershowitz has a long close relationship with Epstein although it doesn't appear he was part of their pedo ring. There was an in depth article in IIRC The New Yorker several months back.

I don't know if there was another girl involved, but Virginia Louise Giuffre has accused him of sexually abusing her and being one of Epstein's frequent clients, and has never retracted this. It should also be noted that Dershowitz was part of the scheme to get Epstein off the first time.

The better question is, if there is conspiracy at play, who has the power and position to arrange all these things in favor of the cover-up and protection of the perps involved? I know the Clintons are powerful, but I doubt they have THAT much reach they can actually arrange his death in a federal prison as well as the subsequent cover-up. That's a whole lot of power, especially from folks on the outside.

The Clintons by themselves? I wouldn't put it past them, but what about the Clintons and the British Royal Family who is also implicated in Epstein's crimes? Two very powerful political forces could a lot done. And who knows how many other powerful people would be willing to do whatever it takes to keep their names out of the picture.

Even if the Royals are involved how could they influence the US federal prison system from outside? Assuming it's a conspiracy, you had the cameras "malfunction" (and possibly footage intentionally erased), the issue with the guards, someone who ordered Epstein's cellmate removed the day before, some sort of pressure put on the medical examiner, and then both the warden and the BoP head being protected and reassigned. Can Clinton and the Royals, outsiders, influence all that? Maybe, but that's pretty iffy. There are way too many moving parts, particularly on a federal level for me to believe they had control over all that.

I would be shocked if the same thing happened to her, though I guess in the lawless environment we're in now, maybe I shouldn't be. They're probably brazen now to the point they don't care because they know nothing will come of it regardless of how obvious it looked. But I don't think they need to do this. I would be more concerned about her being tortured. She's used to the high life, so they could make where she is now so miserable (like putting her in cells with "disagreeable" cellmates) with the understanding they can make her situation much better or worse depending on whether she shuts up or not. It's subtle coercion and there would be no way for anyone to prove it's happening, nor would anyone care (I mean, she is a reprehensible pedophile after all).

And now the hitman has been found dead, supposedly from a self-inflicted gunshot wound. Sounds like whoever hired him wanted to make sure he didn't talk.
