Rouge is absolutely correct - the Senate cannot stop the House from impeaching Trump.
The mistake you repeatedly make is failing to understand that impeachment is simply the House side of the equation. For example, Bill Clinton was impeached by the House. He was not removed by the Senate. The first to state his case seems right until another comes and cross-examines him.

I don't actually buy the trope that the Clintons go around surreptitiously removing dozens of people on command. If they were that powerful, Hillary would be president."I am not angered that the Moral Majority boys campaign against abortion. I am angry when the same men who say, "Save OUR children" bellow "Build more and bigger bombers." That's right! Blast the children in other nations into eternity, or limbless misery as they lay crippled from "OUR" bombers! This does not jell." - Leonard Ravenhill

The guy who openly boasts about grabbing women by their genitals and planting unwanted tic-tac flavored kisses on them is shocked that Epstein "accosted one of his underage female employees".
"Donald Trump has called Epstein a “terrific guy” and “a lot of fun to be with”. Epstein paid two visits to the president’s Mar-a-Lago Club in Palm Beach, Florida, in 1997 and 2000, posing for photos with Trump on both occasions. Epstein’s personal address book, leaked in 2009, contained 14 phone numbers for Trump and members of his staff, according to reports".

The Senate, can refuse to convict, stupid.
