The irony of the New York Times’ 1619 Project...

If you hadn't yet become convinced that the Grey Lady has gone absolutely stark raving bonkers, check out the 1619 Project.
The first to state his case seems right until another comes and cross-examines him.

First claiming that America was essentially founded in 1619 is asinine in the extreme.

Second, if slavery was behind everything that made us great then why aren't other countries that had slavery not as great? Especially those much more reliant on slave labor.

And C, we're Muricans so it's Gray Lady.

I'm always still in trouble again

"You're by far the worst poster on TWeb" and "TWeb's biggest liar" --starlight (the guy who says Stalin was a right-winger)

Why is the New York Times trying to destroy principles of freedom? Why is the NY Times building on a set of lies? Why are Americans deemed to be gullible to the NY Times propaganda?

Only because they reveal the utter insanity and disconnect from reality that exists in the heads of liberals.

"In the days and weeks to come, we will publish essays demonstrating that nearly everything that has made America exceptional grew out of slavery.”

So... they are saying that slavery was a good thing then, since it made America exceptional?

This is what happens when people are so invested in racism that they see it in everything and view all of history through racist lenses.
