Earth had its second warmest year on record in 2019, just 0.04°C behind 2016, said NOAA and NASA on January 15. Global ocean temperatures and global land temperatures were both the second warmest on record. Global satellite-measured temperatures in 2019 for the lowest 8 km of the atmosphere were the third warmest or second warmest in the 42-year record, according to the University of Alabama Huntsville (UAH) and RSS, respectively.

By continent, here are the 2019 temperature rankings:

Australia (and Oceania): warmest year on record
    Europe: 2nd warmest
    South America: 2nd warmest
    Asia: 3rd warmest
    Africa: 3rd warmest
    North America: 14th warmest

Weather is what the temperature and chances of rain or snow is tomorrow. Patterns and cycles of temperature and precipitation overtime in regions and the world represents the climate.

What you meant to say is that, if the weather supports climate change, then it is climate. If it doesn't then it is weather.

This year is interesting because it's the second warmest, but came with the ENSO index idling around neutral. Which indicates that we can now reach temperatures that once took a strong El Niño without one.

But, in terms of climate trends, it's only informative when considered in light of the surrounding years and the ongoing trends. And, in that context, it's just another indication that the climate scientists have gotten this right.

No I am not saying weather supports global warming. All it does is to when you should where a coat, or maybe gloves. or maybe shorts and a T-shirt, or maybe carry an umbrella.
