I think it's a case of a typical political elitist mindset. He knows he can make up stories, grope women and little girls in public, publicly admit he pulled his political weight to get his son off in the Ukraine, etc., and knows he can get away with it to the point he doesn't even consciously give a second thought. But now that he's much more in the public eye, the fact is catching up to him that you have to at least pretend you're not an untouchable elitist, and he's struggling with that fact.

I'm fairly certain that she's of the mindset that some folks, whether man or woman, are more equal than others.

Like when she informed critics that "we're in charge - and you're just shouting from the cheap seats" which sounds an awful lot like sit down and shut up and let your betters do their job.

          Joe is irrelevant.
The first to state his case seems right until another comes and cross-examines him.

Pretty much what a number of those in the MSM are also saying.

I'm still waiting for liberals to lead by example: First disarm their security detail; then we can have a discussion about disarming the general population.

The question is, why should the public care? In this day and age its not about electing virtuous politicians, but rather electing those the people believe will represent them.

In the end it will be the same excuse as used by Conservatives who try to explain why they vote Trump "Because otherwise I'd have had to vote for the other side"

Playing the devils advocate here of course.

I'd say it's relevant in the context of primaries; of course, only if you are a Democratic primary voter vested in that particular result...

With Biden, I would be afraid he would show up for an important meeting and would have forgotten to put on his pants. Or accidentally pushed the nuclear war button, thinking it was the elevator.

Fortunately, that's not actually how it works.

It'll be fine, goes in line with presidential gaffs.

Yes, people make gaffs here and there. Biden makes them all the time. He even called himself "a gaffe machine"

At least he would be entertaining, until he nuked us instead of North Korea.

It is yet another example of what the left means when they talk about "reasonable" gun safety measures (I've noticed that they rarely say "gun control" any more). Single shot firearms. Confiscation ("mandatory buybacks"). etc. Some are still railing against bump stocks seemingly ignorant of the fact that they already have been banned.
