False. Liberty is grounded in human rights. Human rights are grounded in objective moral values and duties. Objective moral values and duties are grounded in the existence of God. Moreover, God gave man free-will.

Ancient Israel, run by God, would give the average anarcho-libertarian seizures.

Ancient Israel was the product of a legal contract specifically between God and the Jewish people. As in, God presented the Jews with a contract and they consented to live under it. We, as Christians, are under the New Covenant, which is between God and all of mankind. It is up to each individual to agree to the terms of this new contract.

If in the Skeptic's mind the presence of a Christian President, House of Representatives, Judiciary and 90% Christian population (at the time of the Civil War) doesn't make a Christian Nation then I'm sure I don't know what would compose such a nation.

If all it takes to compose a Christian nation is for a majority of its citizens to call themselves Christians, then I'm OK with saying that the United States is a Christian nation.
