Not just voting against impeachment, but possibly switching from Democrat Party to Republican party!

Jeff Van Drew, a moderate who represents a suburban district that Trump carried in 2016, has reportedly begun telling campaign staff and allies he will join the Republican Party, according to the New Jersey Globe.

That may encourage other moderates to do likewise.

    Edit: YEAH!!!!

Yup. It's too early to say but I suspect that if the Republicans take the House there will be some payback coming.

The House itself can expel a member, but I don't think they can impeach one.
Impeachment isn't limited to the president. There have been a number of impeachments, mostly of judges but also at least one senator.

Oh please, I'm sure many share those same concerns now, though they won't admit to it for political reasons. There are just less pricipled people in the republican Congress today than there were in !974.

Yes, and there is even more evidence not yet seen in this Impeachment because of Trumps absolute obstruction/cover-up.
Yeah, no. The obstruction is nonsense. The House Democrats didn't even try to gain relief.

The lawless ones are the Democrats and their insane coup attempt.

Good, we don't need unprincipled politicians in the democratic party. He's all yours.

Yeah, because those upholders of the Constitution and the rule of law need to be taken to task for their principled stances.

Sure they did Tea, and the McGahn case which they took to court years ago is still going through appeals. When you have a corrupt President who is continuing to try and rig an upcoming election while blocking evidence into the case against him, there is no time to play the Presidents legal games. This is how Trump operated in his private life when it came to law suits filed against him, delay, delay, delay, at the expense of the filer until the expense outwieghed the relief. Since in the end, Trump has no legal right to deny evidence to Congress, as Judge Jackson ruled, then they can just hold him in contempt of Congress, an abuse of his power, and file it as an article of impeachment. Which is what they told him they would do, and what they did do.

Coup attempt? So funny. So Congressional oversight is now seen by the naive, easily led right as a coup attempt.

Calling it a coup is propaganda a la Pravda
