English spelling and grammar is messy only because it's stolen so much from other languages. At this point, there's very little remaining of what was once the original language. It's just a mishmash of bits of all other languages now and they all have very different rules for spelling and grammar.Curiosity never hurt anyone. It was stupidity that killed the cat.
