    Well before the 2016 election I got tired of his habit of inserting editorial comments into news stories. When the news is on I want news not opinion. They already have a ton of opinion shows.

    I think that has to do with his arrogance - he appeared to think his commentary was as important as the news.

    Nah... I think he'll actually find it very difficult to land a job anywhere else. It's not like he's a standout reporter, or an exceptional newsreader (he seems to stumble over his words rather frequently), so apart from his anti-Trump credentials, which are hardly in short supply at mainstream networks, what does he really have to offer?
