I should note that some of the indictments may have had merit -- but none of these would have been pursued if these folks had supported Dem candidates. Justice has not been blind here. And I think sufficient people have seen the crazy behavior of Pelosi and Schiff and so many others. As a result, Trump will probably be elected despite the Democrat's stuffing of ballot boxes.

There may have been some reasonable indictments of people that have helped Trump's campaign. Nor do I know that Trump is fully acting on everyone's benefit -- but he was the only one who would confront the swamp and even sport of it. Who else could have enjoyed exposing the swamp like this?

Do you actually think the fruitless Mueller investigation was anything less than overthrowing the election?

Do you think Schiff's claims about Trump's phone call with the Ukraine were honest? Do he sound like someone you want to make laws?

Are secret hearings against Trump proper? What basis was there for holding secret testimonies?

What would Congress and the US government look like without these hyper-partisan actions?
What I think is that you need get yourself out of the propaganda bubble that you are so obviously, mindlessly, languishing in.

Back to the thread's question... what GOP candidate should be selected for 2024 to succeed Trump?
If Trump is still around, not in prison, or in asylum in Russia in 2024, then you will have succeeded in aiding and abetting him in the overthrow of your democracy.

Indeed. Pelosi and Schiff are trying to promote a dictatorship of the proletariat. If they succeed, America and many other countries are doomed.

We don't want a socialist/communist democracy. We want a free nation and a free world. We are supposed to have a Constitutional Republic

it is funny that you would expect Russia to be the only free place to go to if Pelosi gets her way in the States.

Good, go play in the corner. When you're interested in discussion you could actually explain what I got wrong in my previous post about your view.

I think Ron DeSantis would be a good choice. Perhaps he could bring us together a bit more....

Throughout the 2018 election, far-left Democrats attacked Republican Ron DeSantis as a divisive racist. Today, he may just be the most popular governor in the country.

According to a newly released poll by the University of North Florida, 72 percent of Sunshine State voters approve of the job DeSantis is doing as governor. This includes 91 percent of Republicans, 69 percent of independents, and a striking 56 percent of Democrats. Only 17 percent of respondents indicated they disapprove of his performance thus far.

I'm frankly not much interested in discussion with someone who assumes my reasoning and view from the outset, then hurls insults when called on it.

Perhaps you could reset by giving me a reason beyond "scion of Trump" that Don, Jr. should be seriously proffered as a candidate.

We all form impressions of other peoples' views and reason from there. If an impression of you is wrong and you want to correct it, just say so and state what the truth is to clarify matters. Instead I got some passive-aggressive nonsense about 'I suspect your mind-reading ability sucks', which doesn't clarify anything.

You could reset by clarifying your view on Trump, Sr.
