  • What Have the Democrats Accomplished?

OK, aside from endless investigations and always looking for ways to bring down Trump....

What have the Democrats actually accomplished.
I mean - let's assume you agree that Trump is a low life scum bag and needs to be removed from office...

BESIDES THAT, what have the Democrats actually accomplished?
What can they point to to say "vote for us because we...." (and not what they promise, but what they DID)

Note: This is NOT A "I HATE TRUMP" thread - there are plenty of threads already for that.

The first to state his case seems right until another comes and cross-examines him.

Should you be gloating over not screwing up even worser than you did?

            Now, as per the OP...

To be fair, the Democrats only control the House which makes accomplishing things rather difficult.

Yeah, I considered that, but there's always the possibility of working on ANYTHING that could even remotely be considered bipartisan. There's NOTHING?

We are in a time when extending a hand across the aisle is typically seen as treasonous among your fellow travelers and a sign of weakness by those across the aisle.

I would like to point out that the republicans control the senate and the white house. Since the republicans own 2/3 of the government, what could the democrats accomplish? Anything they put forward would be shot down by the opposing party. The question "what have democrats actually accomplished?" is misleading.

How about the USMCA trade agreement? Trump is also willing to work with them on the drug bill. I think the Dems want to deny him a win - on everything...

Democrats seem to be 'getting things done' just fine, insofar as you mean they are turning up and doing their job by voting for relevant laws to help the American people.

The ones very much not doing their job are the Republican senators, who have done almost nothing at all, refusing to hold votes on almost any legislation. In any other workplace they would be fired for failure to do their jobs.
"I hate him passionately", he's "a demonic force" - Tucker Carlson, in private, on Donald Trump
"Every line of serious work that I have written since 1936 has been written, directly or indirectly, against totalitarianism and for democratic socialism" - George Orwell
"[Capitalism] as it exists today is, in my opinion, the real source of evils. I am convinced there is only one way to eliminate these grave evils, namely through the establishment of a socialist economy" - Albert Einstein
