A great thing about living in free countries is not only that you are free to say what you think, you are also free to provide reasons, arguments and facts to strengthen your case. You should use those last freedoms a lot more.

That's a fascinating inference, Charles. On what basis do you make it?

Sure, Charles. Thanks so much for your concern, but this us an issue between me and Ox, and you really should just keep your nose out of it.
The first to state his case seems right until another comes and cross-examines him.

And it further means that since he is only motivated to reveal that damaging information when in personal jeopardy ( e.g being shown to have perjured himself) it means that his testimony on those matters is likely true and also reinforced by what ever evidence forced him to reveal what he knew in the first place.
Interesting points. Seeing him only as unreliable is a rather opportunistic interpretation, it would seem. I believe we are seeing and will continue to see quite many opportunistic interpretation for some time to come. Some people seem to have invested their personal integrity in project Trump and large parts of the church has done so as well. Unfortunaltely some seem to think it is too late to leave.

Maybe you should take your own advice.

Have you considered that you get the treatment that you have earned? There's only so many times someone can spit in another person's face before the latter stops extending a friendly hand.

Yeah, it does. Perjuring witnesses are always bad news.

And again ... and yet I'm still extending a friendly hand (or trying to anyway)

Certainly it's bad news for the perjurer, but it's not bad news for the prosecution when in fact the reason for his re-do was to save himself after being caught lying trying to protect the defendent. He had no choice but to tell the truth, or be charged with perjury, and he knew it.

That, too - but it is bad for the case.

The whistle blower having a gofundme is much, much worse...

                          • It seems the whistle blower's lawyer set up a GoFundMe page for his client, which is probably against the law.

Does the lawyer get 40%, as is usual and customary?

                                He's supposedly working pro bono.
