Truth isn't dependent upon ones views of the world,
Are the news organizations owned today by the same groups that owned them 50 years ago?
For now, I suggest you watch, or listen, to the open hearings beginning on Wednesday to see for yourself. Then you won't have to rely on the media to understand what is real or fake.

why don't the dems just do the hearing and then pass it on to the Senate?

Are you claiming that Trump was wrong when he claimed he appoints "only the best people"?!?

No he wasn't. He was forced to resign because he committed a crime and tried to destroy the evidence. Had nothing to do with editorializing line the MSM does today.

Dems have little control over the process once it is in the Senate, giving Republicans the ability to sweep the evidence under the rug before it is heard by the US public, and then vote to let Trump off. Dems presumably believe that if the public was aware of all the evidence against Trump the Republicans would have to take the charges seriously and be properly accountable to their voters with respect to the Senate vote to let Trump off or remove him from office.

That's how it works mike. The House has the hearing/inquiry, then they file articles of impeachment, or not, depending on the testimony, and then they pass it off to the Senate.

good. you have the same understanding of the process as me. But congress doesn't have to air their politics on tv.

sure. let the Dems finish their theatrics and pass the process on to the Senate. This has been going on too long.

These discussions continue to be senseless. We are working from different ideas that we see as truthful. Plus, we disagree on whether the communists or the republicans have better plans to improve the country.

Comprehension Bill. I didn't suggest that Nixon resigned because of the press, I said he resigned because what the press printed was true.

Yes, they absolutely do have to make it public, because ultimately it is the people who will determine guilt or innocense. The republican Senate will, as starlight pointed out, most likely sweep the whole thing under the rug, unless they hear from their constituents to do otherwise. The people need to see for themselves, make up their own minds, it's their government, your government, if you can keep it.

we are not going to properly assess the testimony given. this will be like any other political event. But, sometimes the politicians can make it seem like you have made your own decision.

If this is what you like, then enjoy the show. it sounds like you don't even need to see the show. you already decided that the Senate will sweep everything under the rug.

That's probably why you're susceptible to fake news, mike.

There's been more than enough evidence made public already that I don't really need to watch the hearings to make up my mind, but I will watch anyway. The majority republican Senate will sweep it under the rug, if they think they can get away with it politically.

You have to calm down some.
