Worse. Sondland even confirmed that Trump had explicitly and expressly told him that he did not want anything in exchange -- any quid pro quo. He testified that he had directly called Trump in order to find out why the aid was being delayed. "I asked the president, ‘What do you want from Ukraine?’" Sondland declared. "The president responded, ‘Nothing. There is no quid pro.’"

Sondland confirmed that Trump had told him that "I want nothing. I don’t want to give them anything, and I don’t want anything from them."

This is the nature and quality of the "evidence" that you are building this house of cards upon.
As anyone who has been watching the impeachment hearings is well aware, your statements are false.

That's just silly. Regardless of who's right and who's wrong, both sides are playing to their base. It's all about politics.

Then there was Yovanovitch who was repeatedly asked about her "feelings". I'm not sure if it was a Congressional hearing, or an episode of The View.

No, that statement is what's silly. If one side is right, then they aren't just playing to their base, they're doing what's right.

It's amazing how quickly right-wingers embrace post-modernism with regard to there being no such thing as truth, or criminal guilt, when the truth is inconvenient to them.

As Col. Jessup said in a Few Good Men "They can't handle the truth." They just can't!

And you remember where the good Colonel ended up, yes? (and, actually, he said "YOU can't handle the truth")

And you buy the liberal talking points that assure you that the Democrats are right. They're going after impeachment because they see it as a way to get even for losing the 2016 election. They will proceed (or not) entirely on political expediency.

Maybe Jimmy forgot that Col. Jessup wasn't the hero of that movie, and that the truth was that he committed criminal acts in his misguided attempts to instill a sense of discipline and loyalty in his men.

The Democrat party is afraid they won't be able to beat Trump at the ballot box, so they're trying to beat him in the (kangaroo) courtroom.

Liberal talking point or not, yes, the democrats are right, and if they did nothing and let Trump get away with it, then you can pretty much kiss any check on executive power, the impeachment process, and our Constitution bye bye. Then you can have the dictator you Trumpsters all seem to want so badly.

No, it has nothing to do with political expediency. They're going after impeachment because this guy is a corrupt, lawless, unfit for the office, wannabe dictator who has continued his corrupt ways from day one in office and has abused his power and trampled the Constitution just as he and his fellow dictator Putin planned it.

The movie itself has nothing to do with it, dopey. I cited the quote in defining the likes of you. You can't handle the truth!

Well it's true that we've come to the realization that there are a lot of naive, uninformed, and quite a few deplorable people in the country that with the help of Russia could put the corrupt and treasonous man back in the White House once again which would be a trajedy for the country and democracy around the world. But that's not what he is being impeached for, nor is the House a Kangaroo court. He's being impeached for his lawless behavior.

No, she was not. She was asked about her "feelings" only when informed that Trump was tweeting about her while she was testifying. She was specifically asked "what effect do you think that has on other witnesses’ willingness to come forward and expose wrongdoing? She responded "Well, it's very intimidating". A reasonable response to overt witness intimidation by the president. Only an 'Evangelical Trumpster' like you would think otherwise.
