The gist of the bill is that students cannot be penalized for giving answers to classwork that is scientifically inaccurate as long as they cite their religious beliefs. The whole thing is there if anybody wants to read it.
This seems like the wrong way to go about it. What's wrong with just letting kids answer something like "according to the textbook" or "according to the theory of evolution" instead of giving everybody an easy to abuse loophole the size of the Grand Canyon?
Yeah, people laugh at people saying "it's against my religion" as a joke, but there are people out there who genuinely believe the metric system is a Communist conspiracy so it's not too far of a stretch to see this getting abused.
