I don't have to denigrate Omar, Jim, she's quite good at it herself.
The first to state his case seems right until another comes and cross-examines him.

And you are trying to push that perspective by citing unsubstantiated rumors, not "just opening it up for discussion."

False. I cited a story and asked for comment. We don't need any more from you, so please feel free to exit the thread.

        Thanks

Yes, it does. There was a lot more the Republicans could have done, but like I said, they didn't have the stomach for it. Same with the Fast and Furious investigation. There were a lot of heads that should have rolled, but Republicans pulled themselves up short.

Can you name another[1]? According to Politico there were something like 15 Congressional investigations of Trump going on just this summer, hence MM's comment about "endless investigations and witch hunts"

            1. As for Benghazi, there were a lot of needless deaths because of that not to mention an attempt to frame an innocent man.

What all these impeachments/coup attempts have demonstrated is that Trump is amazingly clean, and have not in any way shown him guilty of crimes.
Many of the Democrats have pretty much abandoned the necessity of finding an actual crime that Trump committed to impeach him for, and that was even before they threw the rules of evidence out the door during Schiff's circus.

I agree with you that the Republican SCOTUS has drastically harmed the country over the years by repeatedly striking down laws limiting campaign funding, and that this has produced an epidemic of corruption in the system. But it has done so by legalizing corrupt behavior. People engaging in actual criminal conduct and going to prison for it, is a different thing.

Look at the (alleged) campaign funding scandals surrounding Omar and AOC, and they're just freshman.
To me this demonstrates there are plenty of bad faith right-wing groups out there who will make up fake scandals about anyone, no matter how innocent and new the person is.

It's no secret that Hillary was personal friends with establishment Republicans like the Bushes and McCain, there's no way they'd seriously go after her.

I don't know why you just hand wave those issues off as "fake scandals." Omar's campaign scandal was a small one, understandably since she's just starting her journey down the political corruption road, but it wasn't fake. Accusations against AOC was more partisan orientated and a lot grayer which had to do more with ethics and hypocrisy. But I think it's more about elitism than it is a political party issue. It matters, as an political elitist, who you're connected to whether you're criminally untouchable or not.

Cortez made a lot of noise about "dark money" in politics until it was revealed that her campaign was swimming in it... then she suddenly abandoned her self-righteous crusade.

As a tactical step, it seems the Dems are willing to have a court case against Ihlan in order to create a premise for another witch hunt concerning Trump.

So it is suspicious that Bender is testifying in a Florida case.
He only has a year-long presence on the internet -- with history and praise from a marketing person/owner on that bridal website.
He has only 'revealed' this rumor about Kushner in a Florida case.
The timing seems like it was geared, even a year ago, to impugn Trump and his Trump's staff.

This would add on to the wasteful useless actions by the Dems in the Mueller investigation, the Kavenaugh testimonies, and the pre-Impeachment hearings. Everything that we get from the Dems is vapor.
