Rep Ilhan Omar is a 'Qatari Asset': Florida Court Hearing

Somebody elsewhere mentioned "Omar is going down", or something to that effect.

Representative Ilhan "I have a strange relationship with my brother" Omar (D-Minn) was recruited by Qatar, received funding from a foreign government, and exchanged sensitive information with intermediaries to Iran, a according to testimony in a recent Florida court hearing.

Canadian businessman Alan Bender recently shared evidence in the trial of Sheikh Khalid bin Hamad al-Thani who stands accused of ordering his American bodyguard to murder two people and holding an American citizen hostage.

Bender told the Florida District Court about how he spoke with Qatar’s Secretary to the Emir for Security Affairs Mohammad bin Ahmed bin Abdullah al-Masnad and two other senior Qatari officials.

His deposition states three officials told him: "If it wasn't for our cash, Ilhan Omar would be just another black Somali refugee in America collecting welfare and serving tables on weekends."

Anybody know any more about this?

US Rep Ilhan Omar accused of being a foreign agent – legal deposition

US Congresswoman Ilhan Omar was recruited by a foreign government, passed sensitive information that was relayed to Iran, and received funding by a foreign government, according to a sworn deposition by a Canadian businessman in a Florida court.

In explosive testimony made by video link from Toronto, Canada to a Florida District Court on October 23, Kuwaiti-born Alan Bender claims to have deep ties with governments and royal officials across the Middle East including Qatar. In his statement, he says he met Qatar’s Secretary to the Emir for Security Affairs Mohammad bin Ahmed bin Abdullah al-Masnad and two other senior Qatari officials.

The three allegedly claimed credit for the meteoric rise of Omar, saying: “If it wasn't for our cash, Ilhan Omar would be just another black Somali refugee in America collecting welfare and serving tables on weekends,” according to Bender’s sworn deposition. The deposition was obtained by Al Arabiya English and authenticated by the attorney for the plaintiffs.

Bender was subpoenaed in a lawsuit against the Qatari emir’s brother, Sheikh Khalid bin Hamad al-Thani, who stands accused of ordering his American bodyguard to murder two people and holding his hired American paramedic prisoner. In his deposition, Bender testifies about his meetings with Al-Masnad and other Qatari officials in which they mentioned the Sheikh Khalid case, and discusses Qatar’s campaign to influence Western politicians.

In the testimony, Bender claims to have been asked to recruit American politicians and journalists to be Qatari assets. He says he objected and the Qatari officials responded by saying that several American politicians and journalists were already on the payroll—most prominently Omar, who was allegedly described as the “jewel of the crown”, according to the deposition.

It will be interesting to see where this goes.

Full deposition naming Omar also names Sarsour and Kushner as Qatari assets

"We recruited both, Republicans and Democrats, but that's not good enough. We want to rule the White House," the Qataris allegedly said.

Explosive testimony given in a Florida court, naming Ilhan Omar as a Qatari asset, also implicated a number of other prominent American citizens, including political activist Linda Sarsour and senior advisor to United States President Donald Trump, Jared Kushner.

I literally laughed out loud at the thought of Qatari ministers trying to get a Kuwaiti-born Canadian to recruit American politicians. Qatar, target of the GCC embargo in 2017, recruiting a Kuwaiti. High officials, even. That's some seriously slack-jawed goobering, preacher.

Alan Bender, the main witness, seems to have very little history on the internet but has been propped up as a Middle East specialist/negotiator.

His reputation may only be produced by a few posts on the internet such as http://worldbridemagazine.com/16227/...ules-for-love/

          He sounds fishy.

Yeah, I was only able to find anything about this from Egyptian and Israeli sources. Which is why I asked.

Juvenal's article shows an accusation concerning Jared Kushner getting money from Qatar
As a tactical step, it seems the Dems are willing to have a court case against Ihlan in order to create a premise for another witch hunt concerning Trump.

So it is suspicious that Bender is testifying in a Florida case.
He only has a year-long presence on the internet -- with history and praise from a marketing person/owner on that bridal website.
He has only 'revealed' this rumor about Kushner in a Florida case.
The timing seems like it was geared, even a year ago, to impugn Trump and his Trump's staff.

This would add on to the wasteful useless actions by the Dems in the Mueller investigation, the Kavenaugh testimonies, and the pre-Impeachment hearings. Everything that we get from the Dems is vapor.

I agree. It sounds like a leftist smear campaign to get at Kushner. Omar is sort of like the black sheep member of "the squad." They'd be more willing to throw her under the bus to get at Kushner because of her comments about Israel, than for me to believe the right would be willing to throw Kushner under the bus to get at Omar.

                        Why are Republicans so evil?

Twitter has shut down the accounts of Danielle Stella, a Republican challenger to Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-Minn.) in Omar’s bid for reelection, after Stella twice tweeted about hanging the congresswoman.

The campaign account for Stella, a candidate in Minnesota’s 5th Congressional District, posted Tuesday that “If it is proven @IlhanMN passed sensitive info to Iran, she should be tried for #treason and hanged.” The account later tweeted a link to a blog post about her comment and added an image of a stick-figure being hanged.

Stella’s remark about Omar’s supposedly giving information to Iran is a reference to the baseless allegation that Qatari officials recruited the congresswoman to give intelligence to Qatar and Iran. No evidence has been offered to support that claim.

Said Republican challenger was arrested twice this year for shoplifting. Typical Republican criminal nutcase.

And Republicans try and project their criminality on Omar, with the nutty Qatar/Iran accusations. It's just pathetic.
