So I went to a workforce thing.

I went to an agency that has ties to the college I went to. These guys help people get jobs and expand their resume. They teach people how to answer interview questions. They honestly seem lovely. If things work out I might get into a program that could get me some work experience and I dont have to pay any loans.

I hope this works. I want to be able to work and help folks.

You've done a good thing -- the whole workforce concept can be either bureaucratic and discouraging, or a good experience as you are reporting.

I deal in this stuff a lot, and I'm pleased to say that, overall, the workforce thing has much improved over the past couple decades.

    Best to you, sir!

What I would suggest, TW, if you have one person who is your case worker, take the time to get to know them. Call them by name.

Their job is to look out for ALL their clients -- you want their job to be to look out for YOU.
