A full Senate trial would be the ideal outcome for Trump, and a nightmare scenario for the Democrats, so I'm not sure what Pelosi's gambit is.

Just because Trump is innocent doesn't mean he is obligated to sit back and be railroaded by his political enemies.

The press is at least supposed to pretend to be impartial. They dropped that act long ago.

The "numerous witnesses" nearly all merely repeated the same rumor. The ones who started the rumors were forced to admit it was merely what they "presumed" and "guessed."

If this is all you need to get a conviction then Hillary Clinton would be rotting in jail for killing Vince Foster.
