Yes, and unlike the posts you try to equate them to, each one of those posts is an appeal to the conscience of the person they addressed to move away from the constant attacks that characterize this site and aim for something better. They are not rants against individuals because I am angry or feel picked on, they are saying you all are better than this, we can all be better than this.

And you can be better than to not recognize the difference between that and the content of the posts those replies are pushing back against

So even though I have said you could do better and you should drop the false accusations, since I haven’t said it every post, insulting you, without repeating it again and again, is wrong. Makes total sense, if you don’t think about it! Just out of curiosity though, in all those post to JM and Jorge that myself and Rogue took part in, did you once ‘appeal to be better’ to Jorge or JM once or was it okay because we all three had a common foe?

No MM. By better I mean when we disagree to do so with civility and especially without ad hominem. Without the need to cast the other fellow as evil just because they have a different opinion. To interact in an atmosphere of mutual respect and Christian love. What would that say about our faith if we did that to all who post here, regardless of their POV? Would that not set a standard and a way of being that honors our Lord?

You joke, but I know I’ve taken part in several threads in Natural Science against Jorge, JM, and others. I don’t once recall him asking myself or rogue to be nicer to any of them. I wonder why...

No - I did care. And I still do. And I regret to this day the attitude (not the technical content) I at times presented to both JM and Jorge, though with both it would take a very significant commitment to civility not to fall back into the same mode we were in at the time.

Doesn't look like those studies with 2016/2018 data LPoT referred to are going to get posted and I didn't see anything resembling them in my brief scan of recent studies so that's likely it for me on this thread (I don't expect to get this HTTP-injection problem resolved with Comcast anytime soon, regardless).

But you're the one that supports the uncharitable policies of your country. It's your bible, it should be your principle. You know, if you're not careful, and if Jesus is god, he might spit you from his mouth and declare "you never knew me." Why does it always seem, and it's apparent on this site as well, that non-believers are so often more christian like than believers themselves are.
