First off, the fact that a president playing golf is a problem has always been a republican "straw man" argument. Its only republicans that have a problem with that, but now that it's your guy being accused you're all hypocritically defensive about it. The problem isn't that he plays golf, the problem is 1) the fact that he plays so much golf is just exposing another of his lies to those who fell for it. 'I won't be like that Obama, as president "I'll be too busy to play golf". Trump plays twice as much golf as Obama ever did. And 2), the main point, is that not only does he play more than twice as much golf as Obama did, he plays at his own resorts, pocketing millions, at an enormous cost to the taxpayer. That, the wasting of taxpayer dollars, not to mention pocketing most of it, used to bother republicans as well.

Quite honestly, this whole TDS thing is making me reconsider some of my past thoughts and feelings about Obama.

I find the difference between the two is that the more crazy conspiracy theories about Obama were taken far less seriously, by conservative news than crazy conspiracy theories about Trump are taken by liberal news sources.

Yeah, one of my favorites was from a guy at the mission who was absolutely convinced that Michelle was a man, and Obama was a homosexual. Honest!!!!

I just chalked it up to too much experience with the 60's.

In terms of pure military action, yes, we won in Vietnam, or we could have, but we lost public support at home largely because the media presented a very slanted view of the conflict, and so the decision to end the war in (at least the appearance of) defeat was driven more by politics rather than practical concerns on the battlefield.

I have no problem with answering this hypothetical in the affirmative. So what? In reality, he is not guilty of what he has been accused of, so your question is nothing more than a purely intellectual exercise.

Yes, that worked for Obama who didn't seem to be able to mix business and pleasure. Trump, on the other hand, has had no problem racking up an impressive list of accomplishments that any president would be proud to claim despite his fondness for golfing.

Golf not infrequently mixes business and pleasure, in my experience. Is Trump golfing by himself?

Thank you for answering the question. So at least we agree there. The issue then is simply whether or not he did what he is accused of. I am glad we can agree that is where the trouble lies and that a president doing such a thing should be impeached.

                            That doesn't even make sense.

I've seen that allegation a number of times. It's just dumb. Apparently Obama knew he would become president 20 years ago so he set up a cover story to explain where his kids came from.
