    You execute?
Send in a Ranger or SEAL team to do a precision "extraction" of the enemy forces. Just like we would send in SWAT for a school hostage situation.

Is it just me or has anyone else noticed that those doing the loudest squawking about Soleimani being eliminated didn't bat an eye when Obama was launching something like 2800 drone strikes into sovereign countries and even targeting American citizens? To say that their outrage is selective is an incredible understatement.

Yeah, you can't just blow up a day care center because they were launching missiles from it.

Or you leak something and make the enemy THINK you are going to bomb the school, wait for them to scatter like roaches and kill them away from the school.

Maybe that is why Trump was talking about targeting important Iranian sites, they probably think he is crazy enough to do it and might not bother hiding behind women and children.

But this is a tactic we see far more with Iranian backed militias, like in Gaza --- there's really not the same "blend in with the civilians" stuff going on in Iran itself, because they have actual military bases.

For that matter, Pelosi defended Obama's decision to attack Libya, saying he needed no Congressional approval.

And in the case of Obama's attack on Libya, nobody is entirely sure of his rationale. We weren't at war, and it wasn't a response to a recent attack or imminent threat to the United States or its military personnel.

We had also come to terms with Gaddafi as well after he turned over his nuclear weapons program.

Yeah, let's ignore the fact that nobody is talking about impeachment because Pelosi mothballed the articles weeks ago and refuses to send them to the Senate. It's effectively a dead story at this point!

We saw it with Iraq in Desert Storm too. They were even hiding planes in residential areas.

Absolutely - and other places where Iran fights by proxy. But they don't need to do that at home.

Just saying the Iraqi army did it, so why wouldn't the Iranian army do it? The Iraqi army wasn't some ragtag guerillas. They were an organized army with bases and everything. Yet they hid behind women's skirts when the going got tough.

This reminds me of how, back in the early days of the Iraq invasion, the leader of the Mahdi Army, Muqtada al-Sadr, anticipated being attacked by American forces while holed up in a mosque. The attack never took place and residents soon started complaining about the horrible smell emanating from the mosque. It was discovered that Sadr's men had gathered up all the corpses from morgues that they could get their hands on and put them in the mosque. They had hoped to show the media just how many innocent civilians had been ruthlessly "killed" by American forces after the place was attacked.

The major difference between Iran and Iraq is that Iraq was headed by a brutal dictator with ZERO government needed to approve anything he did. Iran has the theocracy, but they also have a civil government (of sorts) and a large number of secular citizens that can demonstrate against the government.

Iraq has been a war zone for... how long? Iran has not been a war zone -- their wars are fought by proxies outside their borders.

And only one dictator who controlled absolutely everything.

Yet they hid behind women's skirts when the going got tough.
